Prayer Life of our School
Most Catholic Schools are named after saints.  Our school is named after a prayer, the Angelus.  This beautiful traditional prayer, meant to be prayed daily by the Faithful, proclaims the miracle of the Incarnation: The Word made flesh, who because of the Virgin Mary's obedience now dwells among us.

Angelus Academy came into being as a consequence of prayer and its existence is sustained by prayer, especially prayer to the Infant King who condescended to come to us in the humblest of circumstances.  Our students gather for prayer in our chapel at the beginning of the school day, at noon for the Angelus and before departing for home.  They, along with our faculty, staff and parents pray a monthly novena to the Infant of Praque for the flourishing of this mission of love to Catholic families in Northern Virginia.
